Editorial standards and corrections

How we separate editorial work from paid content, how we use AI, and how we correct mistakes.

Separation of editorial and paid content

Rankings, guides and reports are produced by the editorial team under the published methodology. Sponsored features and verified profiles are sold separately and carry a visible label at the top of the page. Links from paid content to third parties are marked as sponsored for search engines.

Sources and facts

Every number in our articles carries its source and year. We link to the original study or document rather than to a summary of it. Quotes are limited to two sentences and attributed. We do not invent people, quotes or statistics.

AI in the newsroom

We use AI tools for research, drafting and checks. Every text is edited by the responsible persona against our style guide, checked for facts and fairness, and passed through a final edit before publication. Rankings are never generated automatically.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we correct it in the article and record the correction below. Material corrections to a ranking are announced in the newsletter. Write to [email protected]; we answer within 14 days.
