This site is published by EKN Media LLC (in formation) ("we"). This policy explains what data we process and why.

Analytics

We measure traffic with a self-hosted, cookie-free analytics tool. It does not store personal data and does not track you across other sites.

Nominations

When you submit a nomination, we store the details you enter (nominee name, links, your name and email, your reason) to review the nomination and to contact you or the nominee about it. We keep nomination data for 24 months after the last activity, or until you ask us to delete it. Nominees are informed that they have been nominated when we start a review.

Newsletter

If you subscribe, we store your email address and the time of subscription. We use a double opt-in: your subscription only becomes active after you confirm it by email. Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link. We keep your address until you unsubscribe.

Expert profiles

Profiles of listed experts contain professional information from public sources and, where marked, from the verification process. Listed experts can request corrections or the removal of non-essential information at any time by writing to [email protected].

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. Residents of the European Economic Area have these rights under the GDPR; California residents have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information we collect and to opt out of its sale. Hosting

The site is hosted on servers in the European Union. Server logs (IP address, time, requested page) are kept for a short period for security and deleted automatically.

Changes

We update this policy when our processing changes. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
